An avid builder, landscaper and handyman, Dave enjoys “homes” and all things related to them. Being a professional home inspector has been a natural extension of his interest in building - including contracting one of his own homes from scratch and maintaining and renovating three others.
Past occupations have included Deputy Sheriff, Correctional Officer and a Martial Arts Instructor for over 30 years – careers which highlight leadership, teaching and communication skills. Part of being an effective Home Inspector is not only how you inspect and document the home, but also how you relay that information to clients and answer important questions. Daves’ positive and friendly personality will put you at ease - you have a sincere and dedicated ally in your corner who will do his best to ensure you have all the necessary information you need to make an informed decision.

A native Nova Scotian, Dave is a longtime resident of the metro Halifax region and is very familiar with both harbour cities as well as all surrounding areas.
